About Lyra:
 
We imported Lyra from the UK. We are very lucky and happy that we could get her
as she is from a combination we really loved and she was already a beautiful puppy who caught the eye.
Her pedigree combines lovely, old English lines and Finnish lines which produce sound and nice type of smooth collies.

Lyra is a beautiful and elegant girl. She has a gorgeous head with lovely dark brown eyes and perfect collie ears. 
Her sweet, easy-going temperament was already apparent as a little puppy when she slept through
the 2-day long journey to home and behaved fearlessly and happy at the hotels where we stopped on the way home. 
When we arrived home, she got very happy when she met our other dogs and wanted to play with them immediately :)

Lyra has a calm and laid back nature with a huge will to please. She is very obedient.
We can walk freely with her without a leash wherever we go.
She loves running and playing chasing games with other dogs, paddling in waters, playing with balls.
She learns quickly and easily. We trained some herding work with sheep which she enjoyed very much. 
She has a great herding instinct.

We started dogs shows with her as a puppy and she quickly gained lots of success:
She won Best In Show 3 Baby on her very first show and Best In Show Puppy twice at speciality shows
in 2 countries under breed specialist judges with beautiful critiques.
She collected the Junior Champion titles of 2 different countries and was Res. Best In Show Junior at a club show.
She completed her first adult champion title, Hungarian Champion at the age of only 15 months. 
At 2 years of age she's already champion of 5 countries, Grand Champion and Interchampion.
She won many Best Of Breed and CACIB titles as well and what we are very proud of,
she won Res. Best In Show at the annual Pastoral Breed show at 18 months.
She won Best Of Group of FCI 1 at an International Dog Show and she was Best Of Breed at all the clup and spceiality shows 
where we entered her in 2019, both in Hungary and abroad, in several countries, in international competitions.
She was Top Smooth Collie 2019 in Hungary at our breed clubs and achieved both Junior and Adult Club Star titles as well.

We're planning puppies for Lyra in 2020. We mated her to a Finnish bred, very handsome male:
MultiCH Clingstone's King Himself "Veikko".
We're expecting their puppies at the beginning of September. 
We did a lot of research to find the right male for Lyra and we believe that we found a good match for her in Veikko :)
